Request for Designer to Provide Harsimus Cove Association with Visual Identity

Sunday, February 27, 2011

Harsimus Cove Association is looking for a pro-bono graphic designer to help us develop a new visual identity.  The project can be as big or small as you choose and you preferably live within the Harsimus Cove neighborhood or within Jersey City.

It is our hope that the outcome of the project would result in the following:

 1.  Logo design
We're open to everything from a simple font treatment to an illustrated logo

2.  Color palette
We're happy with the color palette found on our website, but we are certainly open to new ideas.

 3.  Style guide
Since we will be using your assets for print (flyers, postcards, posters, letterhead) and online (website, Facebook, Twitter), we are looking for usage guidelines so that our collateral is consistent.

We will be happy to provide you with sponsor placement on our website and on our printed materials for two years as well as putting your name and link to your website in the footer of our website in perpetuity.

Next Steps

Great!  Your'e interested!  Please contact us through the contact form on our website introducing yourself and your work.  Links to an online portfolio would be ideal.  If you have files you would like to send, let us know and we'll be sure to get those from  you during our email correspondence.

We're planning on selecting a graphic designer during our board meeting in early April.
