New Website Launched

Welcome to the new HarsimusCove.org!

We are proud to announce the re-launch of our website with a new design and a content management system that will allow us to post timely information including:

1. community calendar,
2. meeting agendas,
3. meeting minutes,
4. news important to the neighborhood and residents,
5. photo albums
   
6. resource & links and more.

Two important features that will make it easier to keep up on association and neighborhood news are:

1. RSS news feed and the
2. ability to add an event to Outlook or iCal with a click of a mouse.

You can also follow us on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook to stay in the loop.

This is our initial release and we plan on adding more content and features over time.  We're currently asking those handy with the camera to submit photos that we may use to promote the neighborhood on this website and elsewhere.

Dan Strechay, VP of Communications for the HCA, and Stephen Musgrave, resident, have been working on this site for the last two months.  The website is built on the popular Drupal CMS, an open source content management system which is behind sites such as Whitehouse.gov, The United Nations World Food Programme and even Grammy.com. 

Stephen Musgrave, new to Harsimus Cove in 2009, builds websites for organizations with the mission of community and social improvement with the Drupal platform.
