This summer, Jersey City merchants invite you to put your money where your heart is.

Make My City is a week of discounts and promotions at JC's best independent businesses, designed to help you discover what you've been missing…right outside your door. Shop for clothing and gifts, take a Pilates class, grab a bite, all without leaving your neighborhood.

Happening from July 18th through the 24th, 2010, Make My City challenges all of us to spend our money locally—eating at, shopping in, and exploring Jersey City's eclectic array of independent businesses.

Local merchants add color and flavor to our neighborhoods, while making them more walkable and convenient—and just plain friendlier. (PS—thriving indie businesses also boost property values.)

If we don't use them, we're gonna lose them. So c'mon, JC neighbors, Make My City!
