February General Meeting
Please join your neighbors at the Harsimus Cove Association General Meeting for February! We will meet on Monday, February 13 at 7:30 PM at Grace Church Van Vorst, which is on the corner of 2nd and Erie Streets.
In addition to regular business, we will host Bike JC to learn how they successfully advocated for a redesign of Grand Street.
We will also receive an update on Safe Streets JC’s ongoing efforts as discussed at our January General Meeting, take an in-depth look at the proposed Roberto Clemente Redevelopment Plan slated for the area bounded by Manila Avenue, Marin Boulevard, and 6th Street and 8th Streets, and share details about the 1st Annual Harsimus Cove Association Stoop Sale!
Tuesday, February 14: Attend the Black History Month Group Exhibition Opening Reception, being held from 6 to 8 PM at the John Meagher Rotunda Gallery at City Hall (280 Grove Street).
Saturday, February 18: Join Safe Streets JC for an interactive Community Planning Session to identify and prioritize our city-wide traffic safety concerns. The meeting will take place from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church (85 Wayne Street). Learn more and RSVP here.
And please take Safe Streets JC’s survey to register your concerns about traffic safety. The survey is available here.
The ideas gathered during Safe Street JC’s Community Planning Session and from the online survey will help to set the agenda for the March 30 meeting with Mayor Fulop and both Jersey City and Hudson County officials.
