Dear Neighbors,
There is a group of very involved citizens working hard with the City
to get Google to use Jersey City as a test site for their high-speed
optical fiber. The Harsimus Cove Association believes that winning
this competition will boost Internet access for all residents, drive
down the cost of current Internet access, and bring much needed
revenue into the City by way of the business this initiative will
foster.

Google recently announced a competition to bring super high speed
Internet access to one lucky city in America. This is a test project
to improve the availability of high speed Internet service for all
Americans.
Jersey City is vying for this opportunity and competing against many
other cities. The community group “High Speed Jersey City” is working
with the City of Jersey City to win this competition and to improve
the lives of all of its citizens.
