HCA General Meeting

As the weather turns colder, things are heating up in Harsimus Cove. We hope you were able to stop by and enjoy our fun-filled Afternoon of Fright on 4th Street Halloween block party on Sunday, October 31st. A big thank you to our co-organizers - JC Moms, Art House Productions, Councilman Steven Fulop and the 4th & 5th St Block Association - who went all out to throw a great party and hopefully start a Harsimus Cove tradition for years to come.

Thanks also to everyone who stopped by the HCA table to chat and join our mailing list. If you're interested in finding out more about the association and what you can do to get involved, our November General Meeting is scheduled for 7:30 pm on Wednesday, November 17th at the Villa Borinquen Community Room on the corner of Manila Avenue and 2nd Street (enter through the gate behind the fountain). Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend!

On the agenda will be the elections for the 2011 Harsimus Cove Association board. If you or someone you know is interested in running for HCA office, you can throw your hat into the ring by emailing your name and the board position you're interested in to newshca@gmail.com. A list of HCA officers' duties can be found in our bylaws on this site.
