HCA General Meeting

Fall is in full swing and that means two things -- Halloween and election season! Join us this Wednesday at our October General Meeting for more details on these two events, happening right here in beautiful Harsimus Cove.

WHEN: 7:30 pm on Wednesday, October 20th

WHERE: The Villa Borinquen Community Room on the corner of Manila Avenue and 2nd Street (enter through the gate behind the fountain). 

Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend!

On the agenda will be details about our first ever Halloween Block Party, scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday, October 31st and co-sponsored by the JC Moms Meetup, Art House Productions and Councilman Steven Fulop. 

We'll also be discussing the latest on the Embankment, neighborhood crime and next month's elections for the 2011 HCA board. If you or someone you know is interested in running for HCA office, come to the meeting to find out more and announce your candidacy. A list of HCA officers' duties can be found in our bylaws on this site.

Our guest speaker this month will be Jersey City Parking Authority Director of Enforcement Ferdinand Picariello, who can hear your concerns about parking permits, regulations and enforcement. AND he will bring temporary Visitor's Parking Passes for purchase.
