Thursday, March 22, 2012 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

There's a last minute change in plans for tonight's High Line talk, but the show goes on ... Melissa Fisher, Chief Operating Officer of Friends of the High Line, will step in for Robert Hammond, co-founder, who is unfortunately ill.

Melissa has a wealth of High Line experience.  Before she assumed her present job, she was Director of Horticulture and Park Operations.  She is steeped in High Line history, and will take questions on this or other topics after her slide talk.

For those who planned to purchase Robert's book High Line: An Insider's Guide to New York City's Park in the Sky, a number of copies will be available at the event.

The Embankment Preservation Coalition welcomes Melissa to Jersey City, while sending wishes for a speedy recovery to Robert.  Please join for Melissa's informative talk, Q&A, and light refreshments at one of Jersey City's historic buildings.

Co-sponsored by Barrow Mansion Development Corp., and with support from the Harsimus Cove Association.  The talk is a part of the Coalition's continuing series exploring the metropolitan area's fascinating transportation history and infrastructure.

All are welcome to these informative and social evenings. Admission is not charged but voluntary donations are welcome and will benefit the Embankment Preservation Coalition.
