Stephen Musgrave

President

Stephen has lived in Harsimus Cove on Second Street since 2009.  He works as a software engineer, building websites for non-profits with his company, Common Knowledge.  Stephen built this website after becoming a HCA member in January of 2010.  It's Stephen's mission to grow awareness of neighborhood news and issues by leveraging social media such as Twitter and Facebook.

Laura Fant

Vice President of Communications

Laura has lived in Harsimus Cove for just over one year. She is an attorney with a focus on labor and employment law, and has worked in the private, government, and non-profit sectors. As a board member, Laura wants to focus on encouraging greater community participation in neighborhood events and on improving quality of life in the Cove.  

Peter Valenzano

VP of Membership

Peter resides on Christopher Columbus Drive and has lived in Jersey City for seven years. He is an attorney at Hyderally & Associates, P.C. where he actively litigates in all areas of employment law before the New Jersey and New York state and federal courts. His primary concentration is in the litigation of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, and wage and hour cases. As a board member, Peter would like to focus on increasing attendance at meetings and encouraging greater community participation in Harsimus Cove. 

Michael Flinck

Secretary

Michael is a resident of 3rd St between Erie St. and Jersey Ave. who has lived in Harsimus Cove for three and a half years, and Jersey City for five years.  He works near Exchange Place at a financial firm and is a composer/musician in his spare time. He is also a Board member and volunteer of Art House Productions in Hamilton Park. As a board member of the HCA, he would like to focus on serving the community and making it a better place to live.

Leda Duif

Treasurer

Leda is a resident of 5th street, between Jersey & Coles, and has lived in Harsimus Cove for two and half years. She has a background in Business Development working for both financial and non-profit institutions, with experience in documentary film making and most recently a stay at home mom who is launching her own business. As a board member, Leda wants to focus on making HCA an active & inclusive vehicle that creates
a positive impact for the community it serves.

Annisia Cialone

Board Member-at-Large

Annisia is a resident of First Street and has lived in Harsimus Cove for 5 years.  She works for an architecture firm specializing in large scale design.  Her focus is on creating great public places. She also works with her husband, an owner of a local architecture practice.  She is a mom and is involved in education advocacy in Jersey City.  Annisia is interested in increasing membership for the HCA. 

Galina Hack

Board Member-at-Large

Galina is a resident of 1st Street between Manila and Erie Streets who has lived in Harsimus Cove for two years. Her background is in Hotels Administration and Finance. She worked as a Financial Analyst and Internal Auditor for Sands Co. and recently is a stay-at-home mom. She is interested in Member at large and wants to focus on improving and adding activities for the residents in Harsimus Cove.

Monica Stewart

Board Member-at-Large

Monica has lived in Jersey City for five years and has been a HC resident on 5th street and Jersey Ave. for the past two years. She has a background in biochemical research and works as an assistant research professor at Rutgers. Monica is excited to be a member of the HCA board and looks forward to contributing to the neighborhood, getting to know her neighbors better, and helping to build a stronger, more connected community.

Dan Strechay

Board Member-at-Large

Dan has lived in HC on First Street between Jersey and Erie for 4 years. He works as a Communications Manager for a recycling company in New York and has been involved in Communications/Public Relations for 10 years. Dan would like to focus on helping the association grow and give back to the community.
